Nonchalante, in your letter you received on July 15th it might say what window you need to go to. Wow looking at your timeline they are about 8 weeks out for scheduling interviews.

Pui had the same lady in window 5 back in June. The lady does not have very good people skills. She is approving people so that is a good thing. There are 3 people now who have been approved by her. Pui, a lady Pui met in line waiting for her interview, and Bee. The lady Pui met in line at her interview had the same problem about the expired medical documents as Pui and Bee had. Hopefully the embassy and the two hospitals in Bangkok have talked to each other and got the updated medical documents so other people do not have to go through that. If anybody gets the lady at window 5 just make sure you know all about each other and try and smile to her and kill her with kindness.

I'm in shock right now. Look what I see in the letter..

Upon arrival at the Embassy, the applicant MUST present this e-mail to the receptionist and proceed to Window number 5

Still wish I won't get the same lady  I have heard they are not the same people in the same window all the time (or maybe there are ?!?)

By the way, thanks Andy and Pui , I didn't notice it show in the letter.

I do not know the answer if it is always the same person in that window or if the people change windows. Hopefully somebody else who knows the answer will see it. Good luck on your upcoming interview. Hopefully you do not get the same lady or if you do she is in a better mood.

When my now wife went for her interview she went to window 5 and it was an American male and a Thai lady. We still had hassles concerning her sending me emails in English and doing the interview in Thai. But my experience

has been that many people can type better in English than speak it, which was her case. There used to be a Sawasdee thread in here for people with Thai fiancees that had lots of helpful people and experiences at the embassy

posted. Don't know where it's gone. It was great. Needless to say, the Thai lady at her interview was basically a ###### but with the help of my local Congressman getting some documents sent to the embassy thru Congressional mail

to explain some of their concerns, she had her visa within a few days after they received the documents.
