should i bring my son to the interview? i know that you're not required to bring the k2 applicants along...but my son is an american citizen. if i take him, will they focus too much on him? will it lessen the chances of having my visa approved? thanks!

If hes an american citizen how is he getting a K-2, he would not be eligible because hes a US citizen he has to enter the US on a US passport.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I am a Citizen of the United States of America. 04/16/13

US citizens cannot get any visas. US citizens must use a US passport to enter the US.

Your US citizen son will be denied the K2 visa. He must have a US passport to enter the US.

thanks for the replies! :) i didn't apply a k2 visa for him because he is an american. but what i'm not sure of is if i should take him with me to the interview...thanks!

they might misunderstood ur question.. anyway, I also plan to take my USC baby on my interview with her nanny because I just want to. I didnt think to bring her for the reason that my visa will have a good chance to be approved. Anyway, I dont think having a USC baby will help in visa approval though...

Goodluck.

the OP said, he's an AMERICAN. that means, she's probably done with crba and passport process for her son and had that docs already on hand.

OP, am I right???

yes. :) i already have his birth certificate and passport certificate in hand...just wanted to know if i should take him with me to the interview.

Good job!lol

Anyway, it's your baby, you can bring him if you want to. The problem is if they will allow him to get inside.. If not, then just have them wait in the bench outside (with his nanny or ofcourse someone you trust to watch him).

I will bring my 1 year old with me on my interview just because I want to, if they cant get inside then they will just wait for me outside for a few hours..

really? okay...it's just that i've been reading a lot of stories about applicants taking their children along. so that's why i'm not really sure. well, anyway, i said to myself, if my son is going to have an exam that day, then that's a sign that i shouldn't take him. :)

well anyway, thanks for the advice!
