Hi, if any one can help please.... I have my interview for cr1 in colombia, but they are asking me for the 380 fee that was paid for by my husband to the NVC, what can I do now? They ask for the Afidavit suport which was sent to the NVC aswell, do we have to pay again and get al the paper work again?

As far as i know NVC send all the paper work to bogota, why are they asking for the same stuff..

Help please!!!!

What you have received is a generic list of what is required. They are fully aware that you have already submitted those documents and paid the fee to NVC. You only need to take to interview anything on the list not already submitted to NVC. Make sure you follow any instructions given....such as, having documents and photocopies in a particular order.

No and No. You don't need to pay $380.00 that was paid to NVC and you don't need to submit the I-864 packet to them as well. NVC sent everything to the Embassy. This is a general letter that describe the general interview documents. You will also notice on that page that it says, "if the petitioner has already paid the $380.00, then you don't need to pay this fee" and "if the petitioner has already submitted the I-864, then you don't need to submit it."

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
