My hubby works in a ship and most of the time he's not in the US... What if USCIS approved our I-130 and my husband's away can we delay the submission of requirements to NVC by a month or two? Would that be a problem? thanks

They will send you an ACL letter and him a AOS letter after they receive the petition. They will place the case on hold until you and him establish communication with NVC by completing the ACL and AOS and returning to NVC!

Education is what you get from reading the small print. Experience is what you get from not reading it.

This what printed on the ACL letter my wife received from NVC!

Please Note: If a period of one year passes without communication from you to the NVC after you have been

notified that a visas is available, all fees and documents expire and must be resubmitted to resume the

immigration process.

Education is what you get from reading the small print. Experience is what you get from not reading it.

And you can send the first form via e-mail.

It will be a choice of agent form, and you can e-mail it in :)

Total time from posting I-130 to VISA in hand 7 months 21 days :D
