Question about Medical and Visa Fees

Received a Case # from NVC July 6th. MNLXXXXXXXXXX. No Indication As yet as to being received in Manila.

We want to get the Medical and Visa Fee done and Over with. Is there a Expiration Date on these and if so, how long are they good for. ? I don't know.?

I never Lie, due to Employment I may have to delay the Petition but still want these OUT OF THE WAY. Paid for and Passed. I don't know the expiration of these Documents and if I asked my Attorney she would say. I DON'T KNOW.

I Guess I was asking to much. You might say: How could Tim/Mav have such a High Ranking on VJ? That answer is because I reply to much simplified questions for the K-1 process and give the best Answer I can provide. I try and give the best Advice based upon a Members Post.

hey tim, 6 months on the medical, the embassy can extend your noa2 if you keep in touch with them so they dont feel you have abandoned the process., good luck .

Hey! You have up to a year to schedule your interview.. The USEM keeps your case for a year. I got my noa2 July but I did my medical and interview in December.. You just have to let them know.. It will be okay.. Try not to make your medical too early so that you can also use it for Adjustment of Status.. It's more expensive to repeat it again here. So try to have her medical as close to the interview as possible so that you won't rush with AOS. You can pay the visa fee anytime but make sure she doesn't lose the receipt!!

Hmm.. I'm not sure about that, but I remember during my medical that they asked me when my interview date was and they kept my passport so most likely, you do have to pay for the visa beforehand.. Better to confirm with others though. Probably you do. I got my eligibility letter from USEM last August, and paid for my visa around December 6, then did my medical December 9 and 10, and my interview December 20! Goodluck, you are almost done!!
