Hi izzy.. just want to ask about your immigrant data summary.. you said it was accidentally detached from the yellow envelope.. i was just wondering how come i did not received any yellow packet with immigrant data summary after my interview.. i received nothing except for the interview appointment which got stamp on it indicating finger printing was done.

i'm so worried. However, the consul told me to enjoy my trip. so i assumed that i got approved for my visa. hope you could enlighten me with this.. Thank you so much.

Photocopy of the US-Immigrant data summary is enough, that's what i read on the CFO leaflet. It's too risky to bring along the Visa Packet around.

What did the person in Window 71-73 say after handing you the interview appointment form? If that person didn't instruct you further or if you have lacking documents then I believe your visa is approved. You'll get it through mail along with your passport with the visa printed on it. But you can always call the Embassy or e-mail them about the status of your visa.

thanks... thats what im thinking of its so risky to bring the original... its better if they will only look for the photocopied US-Immigrant data summary.

Oh no, good luck you guys, go to USEM immediately as you can so you can deal with what you have to do next. God bless.

It's important not to detach any of what is attached to that yellow envelope. And CFO accepts an IDS photocopy (you may not need to detach it from being stapled co'z you can have it photocopied even if it's inside the plastic) :innocent:
