Timeline

so we got packet 3 today :D well since friday but since my fiance is a single soldier he stils living on post with no mail box Anyways....i have some questions

do we have to pay the visa fee before we can schedule our interview?

am i going to need my fiance´s original certificate or just a copy of it?

where can i get cheap plane tickets to fly to juarez?

[*]june 03 2011: NOA2 :D

[*]july 1st 2011: packet 3 yayy

[*]august 18 2011: interview! hoping for the best

[*]august 18 2011: APROVED :D

[*]sepyember 3 2011: POE

[*]september 6 2011: marriage yayy

Timeline

1. Yes you have to pay the visa fee before you can schedule the appointment. If you do it on the website it goes step by step, payment is first, than the DS-260, than scheduling the appointment.

2. You will need the original and a copy

3. Try Volaris, Vivaaerobus, and Interjet. I think it depends on where you are coming from. We flew from Cancun, where we live, and our tickets were NOT cheap. We flew with Aeromexico...

Hey I'm really happy for you! I am waiting for our invitation letter and this gives me hope that it will come soon. Your NOA2 was only 3 days before ours. Can you clarify one thing? Did you receive the letter/packet 3 at the US address or the Mexican address???

no it wont be a problem, after you pay the fee you can schedule the interview, you just got a head start with the forms :)
