When you went for your medical, did you declare your condition to the physicians and explained that it's inactive etc?

Because it's inactive, and especially if this can be medically proven from your tests, I would think that there's a good chance they might let it go and approve you anyway. Besides HIV/AIDS is not on the list of "public hazard" conditions anymore, so Hepatitis B may be treated more leniently too nowadays.

That said, I hope that you have already told the physicians at the medical about your condition. If you didn't and in case they ask for previous health records etc. when they find the infection in your tests, you could be blamed for misrepresentation, which is actually quite serious for COs and could get you in trouble.

i did my medical test back in beginning of 2010 and doctor told me you Hepatitis B is inactive you don't have worry about it

because its not harmful for you and he said to me you can't apply for work permit at United arab Emirates because they want a

completely clear medical as by Physicians instruction if its inactive won't harm me or anyone then CO shouldn't be bothered abt it

i have the Report but lately i haven't done any Blood test what will you suggest do you want me to do a new Blood test or take

my Previous Medical Report to the Physician when i receive Packet 4 by Embassy so show that i'm inactive i have the TB test report

Ok, I thought you'd already had your medical for the K-1. Apparently not.

You will have blood tests as part of the medical, so no need for another one now.

If asked on the questionnaire, I suggest you tell them the truth about the condition and that it's now inactive etc. It's also a good idea to bring with you your past medical report in case they ask to see it.

I would think that since it's inactive, it shouldn't be a problem. So I wouldn't worry too much.
