We are compiling and filling out our various bits and pieces for the K1 application.

On the cover letter does the petitioner put the address of our local office (i.e. Orlando) in the top left?

or do we put the Texas address the package is being mailed to? Thanks :)

I would put Texas. Your petition won't be sent to your local Orlando office.

You send the petition to Dallas Lockbox and if your US address is in Florida they will forward it to the Vermont Service Center. You can find the Dallas addresses in the K1 Guide. Also send the G1145 and they will text you when they receive it. (nice to have for peace of mind). Good luck with your petition.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

I put the service center adders, I think that is what you should do. Your petition has to be addressed to USCIS service center, Find out which service center your petition will be processed and addressed your letter to that service center. You can also look to the samples from VJ too,

Wrong you send all 129f petitions to Dallas post box not to Vermont. They all go to Dallas now and then are distributed to the applicable service centre.

Divorced !st November 2012.

Married only 2 years 1 month
