my husband is in the us for 4 years,we have 3 children, what are the steps for him to file for our immigrant visa.is it possible for me to go there together with my children?how long?

You left out a lot of important information. Is your husband a USC? The ages of the children? Is he the biological father of all of them?

Possible to come to the USA? Do you mean as tourists with the intent to return to the P I? The answer is probably not. The P I is a high fraud country where tourist visas are hard to get.

To find some answers to these questions read the GUIDES area above. He would begin by filing a 130 petition for each of you to get immigrant visas.

If he is a green card holder he can file for you and the children (assuming they are all HIS children) to come to the US to live. However, there are only a certain number of those visas issued a year, and you would have to wait for a visa to become available. I think from looking at the visa bulletin priority dates for the Philippines that you would be waiting a year and a half until your application could be processed, and the children would be waiting over ten years. I think. Someone will correct me if I am totally wrong. Given those dates for the children, it probably is not an option for you.

Assuming he has been a green card holder for 4 years and is otherwise eligible, he will be able to obtain US citizenship next year. After that he could apply for you and the children and there would be no wait for a visa number, just the usual wait for the application to be processed.
