Awesome news Huniebee!

I just got the email say a Bio letter was sent. We are going to head down the day after it arrives and do a walk in.

Are they always accept walk ins, or they sometimes send walk ins back home? :)

We have been tracking your status (ok that came across a little stalkish haha)! I keep checking everyday hoping you get your oath letter :) Do you live on the KS or MO side? I found the dates for the KC MO courthouse but I heard if you live on the KS side you may get an interview in KCKs or Topeka- do you have any info on this? I wonder if they are just that busy (doubtful since they fly through the interview process) or if they just hold until they have so many and then put those people on a date.

I'm from Springfield, MO so the swearing in would be in KC (there's one this 8/18 but I have given up on it). I would be checking somebody who filed in the same office too, so no, it's not stalkish :P. There's actually one, she had her interview on 6/13, then got the oath letter in 6 weeks. I have no idea what's going on, but it doesn't seem right. I mean, they processed my case wayyyyyyyyy too fast, then all of a sudden - nothing!!! ARGH! The thing is, I received an update 9 days after my interview that case was put under oath scheduling. It actually said "Oath Ceremony" online. So it's like, a sure thing but not so sure at all, you know what I mean? I don't understand why they let people wait this long. Just so unfair!

I really think it depends on the officer at the field office. Majority of the time they don't even look at the date or don't care. I guess if they have an issue just ask to speak to a supervisor.. so YES, early walk ins everyday lol

I sent it priority mail with signature confirmation (so I sent it to the Lewisville, TX address for 'couriers' rather than the regular Dallas address)

thats what we did... got the NOA about a week later. :)

Our case status was updated today with an email stating our case has been placed in line for interview scheduling. Is there another message that comes after this that lets you know that the interview was actually scheduled or this is the same thing? So excited that this is moving along so quickly-however being in KC just means that there is a LONG wait after the interview to when you finally get an oath ceremony. Has anybody heard from the people that filed before us to Arizona-just wondering if their cases are moving along and they never came back to update.

mine, already place for in line interview hope my letter will come anytime soon.

My NOA PD was 7/21.. but no sign of FP letter or any change in status.. Also, what does the status change to. Right now its on Initial Review.. Is that its supposed to be when they send you the FP letter? or am i missing something? I only had one touch on 7/21.. thats it..

You will receive an email with the following (the quote below is what I received). The status online will still remain on "Initial Review" but the timestamp on it and the brief description will change to the same date as in the email.

On July 29, 2011, we mailed you an appointment notice to have your fingerprints taken. Please follow the instructions on the notice. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Oh - I waited exactly a month before I received the email... check my timeline for details...

We are in the same boat. I'm still waiting for fingerprint schedule. I've seen most people that applied on the 18 have been scheduled for FP on july 29th. The status remains the same as "Initial Review", but the description changes to something like: "On (date), 2011, we mailed you an appointment notice to have your fingerprints taken...." . Seems like every Friday they batch process a bunch of cases and update system. Hopefully we will be included.

I hope so.. its crazy.. i thought this process was easier since we are already PR.. but i guess its all the same..
