I have a question, based on my timeline I should be recieving my NOA2 by the end of July. The problem I have is I dont have a job right now. I quit my job a couple a years ago and have been a full time student. i just graduated in May so I am actively looking but...My tax returns for the last few years I have made enough to cover us all with my unemployment and the student jobs i have but now I have no income. First question how long can i sit on the NOA2 without an "expire" and two if I get a job in the near future will they still require me to have someone co-sign? I really dont anyone that is in the position to do that so Im hoping that wont be my only option. Thanks

The NOA2 will expire after a year.

Wrong, approved spousal visa petitions never expire. However, if requests from the NVC are not responded to in one year, the NVC can send the petition back to USCIS with a recommendation to withdraw approval because they (NVC) will consider the petition abandoned.

September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

That's what I'm saying; if you wait over a year to respond to the NVC, the NVC can conclude you have abandoned and send it back to USCIS with a recommendation to withdraw approval. Another possibility is the NVC will just let the file gather dust as they will be working with active files.

and if i have a new job will that be a problem?

You have to meet the income requirement. If you don't, then you need a joint sponsor.
