The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals just upheld a district court decision ruling that the Affordable Care Act is constitutional. One of the jurists on the three-judge panel was appointed by Jimmy Carter. The other two were appointed by Republican presidents – one by Ronald Reagan and one by George W. Bush – but the former included a partial dissent in his opinion. The bottom line, however, is that this is one more victory point in the Obama Administration column, and a particularly significant one because of the mixed makeup of the appeals court panel.

If you believe that the individual mandate to buy a private product is constitutional, then there is absolutely no hope for you whatsoever. It's people like you who are the problem with this country today and don't have a damn clue what liberty vs tyranny is.

Will you cry and pout and stomp your foot and then tell us all about how you advocate overthrow of the US Government if in case the SCOTUS does uphold it as constitutional since they, in your opinion as a constitutional scholar, got it wrong contrary to your expert constitutional opinion?

I can live with that part of the law being struck down and rewritten to allow for a public option to play fair in competing via the market with private carriers. Don't whine about that too though.
