How do USCIS classify while they are reviewing the packets??? I am frustrated of waiting this long process just for a simple background check.. I don't think it is first come, first served .. coz many of filers who sent after me are already approved ..

As has been said many times, they START the process more or less in the priority they receive things, but every case is different in many, many ways, so there shouldn't be an expectation of completing things in the order they were received. Some are very, very simple, while others are very complex and still others have plenty of red flags.

Life isn't one size fits all, so you shouldn't expect this process to be, either.

Runner--

Ya gotta learn to read--and think. I told you that when cases get started oftentimes has little to do with when they are completed due to different complexities. What is it you don't understand.

When I was going through this process I would always see people who filed long after me get approvals before me and it *sucked*. But you just have to suck it up and be patient. If you're not patient then you're going to drive yourself crazy.
