Soo im not sure if neone can really answer this qustion cuz ive been told to just send both types of affidavits, but in the I-864 its requires and says that the sponsor filing this form must show tax return and 1040 or W2 forms from the irs but the I-134 only requries proof of employment and bank statements showing u can support the alien. soo which one should the joint sponsor file and which one should i file?? and i dont have tax papers.

For K-1 Visa at the embassy level, you have to file I-134, thou you need to include the source of income with it too, like tax transcript of the last three years, letter from employer and recent pay-stub. Later on at AOS stage you need to use I-864 form.

You only need to use bank statements if you're using savings as a means of support if you don't earn the required amount
