Hello to all,

The processing time at NVC really depends on one's own initiative. If you (the petitioner/beneficiary) are proactive throughout this process, the time may range from 6-8 weeks. However, if you wait to receive all the NVC notices/emails, the processing time may take 8-12 weeks. It really depends how proactive one is.

I would highly recommend reading this guide. It was intended for CR-1/IR-1 applicants. However, I think alot of the information will be helpful to you. The guide really explains how to shorten the waiting time.

Do you mean tracking your application when NVC forwards it to USEM? Technically, there is no way to track your application. However, many people have had success using

. Many have had success, many have not. I hope it works for you!

Good luck with your journey! Keep us posted!

Im assuming you are waiting for you case number from NVC? If so, the best thing you can do is to call them everyday. Ours took 11 business days. When you have your case number, it'll take like 2 days to a week for your case to arrive in Manila.

So in between those times, you can now pay for your visa application and can even take your medical exam. Goodluck! :)

Curious? My understanding is that you had to schedule your interview before you could take your medical? I know all you need is a copy of your NOA2 and case number for medical but, you dont have to have the interview scheduled first?
