Exposure varies per person, so it is possible. This is just a minor setback, in two months you can get through this and schedule your interview.. God bless and just keep the faith! :)

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

i hope your sputum test will be negative.i heard about sputum thing during my medical days at the st.lukes and they told me that it takes 3 to 4 weeks...but i dont know if it was right.

during my daughter and i medical days(may16-19) i always pray that results will be negative.but my daughter tuberculin skin test was positive.which surprised me bcoz no one in the family has tb thing..but the lady doc told me that she was exposed on a person that has tb.

i told the lady doctor that my daughter scratched it when we were in the hotel so it go infected or something but she again didnt believed me.so what she did..she'd advised us to have her an xray!! what a heck.my daughter was so scared at the xray room and was crying.it was her first time(she's only 8yrs old).

the next day we went back and im glad it was negative.
