The status of this service request is:

Our records indicate that your biometrics appointment is pending due to limited capacity at your local Application Support Center (ASC). We will schedule an appointment for you when a time becomes available at the ASC and mail you an appointment notice. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

Just got this response emailed to me from my call earlier this morning. I know another on here who is at about our same time using the Durham office and they are waiting too. Not sure how true this is or just a standard blanket response from USCIS.

“A man reserves his true and deepest love not for the species of woman in whose company he finds himself electrified and enkindled, but for that one in whose company he may feel tenderly drowsy.”

I think it's true. Some offices seem to be a lot slower than others. I'm waiting for an appointment in New Orleans. When I raised a service request I was sent a letter saying "Your case is currently under review", everyone else who called got the same email you have. Every time I call to ask about the biometrics appointment they tell me it's because New Orleans is busy, I was told yesterday that it can take up to 90 days for them to receive your file, translated that probably means that's the longest they are supposed to take to allocate you an appointment. I'm 19 days away from that now. :bonk:
