interview preparation packet

how long does this packet will be on our hands..?am i still going to receive it or not..we had our manila case number last june 15.how long should i get this packet?we are going to call for an interview schedule today even if i dont have the packet yet...

by the way, im posting this for my sister..im in the US already for three years..i was on a k1 visa also but there are just alot of changes nowadays than my time..so im asking some questions for her...i would really appreciate all you ideas...thank you once again.

They will only send you the eligibility letter, sometimes not. But since you have your MNL case number, you can go ahead and pay the visa fees and start to call them for scheduling an interview.

dont wait for the eligibility letter coz it will take forevr to arrived coz they`re only using the regular mail, but since you have your Mnl case number you can start your medical already...then you can also start calling the embassy if you mnl case is already in their system this is the number :

You will not receive anything concerning a preparation packet. You must download the state department website forms 156, 156K and 157. Complete them and print them on your computer. Those are the forms you must complete for the interview as the beneficiary. You will receive nothing except maybe the acceptance letter.

It is funny, yesterday we received an eligibility letter saying interview is ready to be schedule, and it was sent here in the US to my address, my fiancee never has received anything yet!

Had we waited for the letter, we would just today begin the process of getting an interview and wasting 3 weeks.

you are right...same case here...my fiance have received the eligibility letter last tues and nothing for me...but im done with everything already....i saved 1 month of the processing time....

hello house,my case is different,i received an email that my interview has been scheduled;but i have not received any packet from the US EMBASSY.I sent them a mail to confirm the packet but rather they sent me an interview date.Pls what do i do now?
