I had my biometrics appointment last Friday and went by myself, he doesn't need to go with you. My letter was in my married name and my passport is in my maiden name so she asked for my marriage certificate. Make sure to take your marriage certificate and social security card with you if you have one.

I`ll be taking my marriage certificate and passport, i dont know if my SSN card will help because its in my maiden name and didn`t change it yet(got it in 2007 when i was here on a different visa).

Thank you, your post helped me a lot!

I would take your SSN card, she said that she has to actually see the card I couldn't just tell her what it was. I don't think it will matter if its in your maiden name since you'll have your marriage certificate.

Really? I thought it was neccessary for both to come. Just because the officer interviewing you was ok with your husband not being there, it doesn't mean that all officers are okay with that. They might give OP hard time if her husband doesn't come.

faithinGod, try and bring your husband. I know that taking a day off might be inconvenient, but your future depends on this interview so if I was you, I wouldn't take any risks.
