Can we call California USCIS for an update on status of NOA2

Its been a month since we recieved NOA1, a long way to go, or maybe not, hopefully, can we call uscis an ask for a detailed update on our case we tried the number on there website was all automated tried emailng just got back rubbish is there a number to call a real live person who will say this is whats going on kinda thing? we are using calis office also thanks guys!

p.s what is goin on in cali, the approvals seem to be flying outta there thick an fast an alot before the 'due date' keep wishing ours will be one of them too :)

The speed they are getting out now you could possibly see an early September approval... Good stuff lately!

As far as calling USCIS you can for sure... But all they will say is they have it and that it will be worked on at some point in the future. You will get zero information beyond that... and don't expect any updates on the web page until there is an RFE/Approval... I’ve been watching hundreds of them and not a single one of them had a touch (other than one a few days after they received a NOA1) before getting approved or getting an RFE.

12/13/11 **Approval date** (5 days short of 9 months!)

12/19/11 Approval letter and green card received

Naturalization

05/16/2019 Filed online (estimated completion February 2020)

05/18/2019 Biometrics scheduled

05/21/2019 Receipt notice and biometrics notices posted to online account.05/23/2019 Hard copy of NOA1 received

05/24/2019 Hard copy of biometrics appointment received

06/07/2019 Biometrics appointment (estimated completion January 2020)
