Hi!

I am scheduled for an interview next week at the US Embassy in Stockholm.

They ask me to bring the original documents which I allready have sent to them?

Whats the deal?

23/05/2011 - My wife filed i-130 at the US Embassy in Stockholm

1/06/2011 - Medical Exam, Chest X-ray

16/6/2011 - Sent in all documents to Embassy

20/6/2011 - Recieved letter from Embassy with Scheduled Interview

29/6/2011 - Interview - almost approved, had to send them one more paper

11/7/2011 - Recieved VISA paggage, not even 2 months total time :-)

I hope you made copies of all your documents. They may be referring to the documents that they requested you bring to the interview, i.e. 864, police report, etc.

Met in France: 10/26/2008

Engaged in the States: 12/11/2009

Married in France: 12/06/2010

Filed I-130 in Paris (DCF): 3-18-2011

Received Packet 3 : 03-23-2011

Received Packet 4: (Can't remember date)

Interview: 06-16-2011 **APPROVED**

Religious Marriage : 6-25-2011

POE Dulles: 7-20-2011

#######, i didnt make a copy of the police report, did copies to the othere ones but not that one..

It's not a big issue, you give them the police report at your interview.

Had my interview last week and they are keen on having all originals.

What papers were requested in originals? Because I had sent my originals to the NVC

and they had them all at the embassy (No worries about those).

But they lacked one original from me and I had to resend it (worst case scenario for you if everything else checks out, don't worry).

Got the VISA in hand 303 days after NOA1!

Only 62 days from a year!

They wanted me to bring medical, police report, birth certificate, military records and so on..

the medical exam outcome was sent directly to the embassy, i didnt even get them home..

Im gonna bring copies of everything i've allready sent them..
