IRS 2010 need help (

hi everyone!!!

im new here in vj and i kept reading all the post here to get some info and i read some post regarding IRS filed single 2010. my hubby IRS 2010 is single but we already married last may 2010.he didnt yet file that he already married cos before he have a deployment may to december 2010. i'm worried now cos my hubby's IRS 2010 are single nd my interview on july 07, 2011. what we gonna do?

He can send a tax return amendment and change his taxes from single to married.

I believe the IRS rules let him file either way. I applied as married and applied for his ITIN number but it took 4 months to process my return. this should not really be a problem as it is IRS rules that control this but it would have been good to show joint accounts.

hi tnx, but i'm worried now cos my interview on july 07, 2011. so its not a problem if my hubby's IRS 2010 still single?

i had two friends who went through their interview with their husbands tax return just like your's and mine. . . my husband's ITR was also filed single because that's what IRS told him. we will just amend when i get there. . .goodluck to us! :)

DS3032 emailed : March 30, 2011

AOS fee received : March 30, 2011

Visa : April 1, 2011

Paid AOS and Visa via Mail : April 4,2011

I864 sent : (by the petitioner) April 13, 2011 (overnight)

DS230 sent : (by me) April 11, 2011 NVC received April 13,2011

AOS RFE :(co-sponsor proof of citizenship) : April 23,2011

RFE sent : April 25, 2011 (overnight)
