yes people ARE being approved for K-1 from CSC but remember that all the approvals were seemingly put on hold for months

The same has been for those doing K-3. They too have been caught up in the IMBRA debacle......that point seems to be overlooked by those doing K-1.

Well I admit I haven't been paying super close attention to K3s, but I know I've seen many many approvals for K3s filed in April/May while zillions of March K1s were not moving. I was certainly under the impression that K3s were being processed much faster (especially since the IMBRA questions made no sense for spouses).

May not necessarily make sense that IMBRA applies for spouses but the IMBRA applies to all those filing K visa petitions and that includes K-3. Approvals have been coming in bursts just as the fiance petitions have. The same IMBRA RFE applied and they were a long time coming just as the K-1. Many of the approvals in the K-3 forum also came from I-130 approvals which is not the K-3.
