hi everyone!i need your input or idea on this.iam just worried coz my fiance's affidavit of support has an erasure. Its on question 9 and 10,and he put a snowpake on the date and corrected it.Is this ok?

i dont think its ok, coz its in the instructions under penalties that says, any concealing of material fact with i134 will cause a denial of the application,,, if i were you i will secure a new one with no erasures...

Yes, KCJ is right, no erasures. Don't take any chances cause this will be the only copy they have.

Concealing of facts doesn't mean a correction, it means lying about something on it. If you put $5,000, but meant $50,000, correcting it would be ok, I am sure.

If it isnt too late, just redo it. Then you dont have to worry. Otherwise, find a way to get it there overnight delivery if you are worried. But if it were me, and it was too late, I would just take my chances because at that time I could not afford overnight delivery. Personally, if too late, I dont think they will care that much or scrutinize it that closely. But that is my own personal opinion, so dont take that as gospel.

That is why I prepared every form as far in advance as I could, even if it meant having to re-do them because of the forms expiring. I would read through them, line by line, letter by letter, over and over again over the course of months, making sure everything was perfect. All my stuff was perfect that way.

the error there is at question no 9 and 10(date submitted)he erase the wrong day and month just the year is correct.and since didnt know the day and month so he erase it and only the year left in there.

I agree with you, PreciousOne. You want to put your best foot forward at your interview. That includes forms which are filled up correctly. Why take unnecessary chances?
