Unable to Schedule a July Interview...how accurate?

So my CC was June 10, 2011 and I called today to see about maybe having an interview date yet. All week they've said "not yet" but today she said "The NVC was unable to secure an interview at the Montreal Embassey for the month of July" She said they only schedule during the 2nd week of the month (meaning that's when they DO the scheduling, not that interviews are only that week). I know I've read that they just "say" that... but I've never heard them come out and just say that they COULDN'T do it for a certain month. Is there any possibility that I might still get an interview in July? I'm so discouraged (again... thanks Visa process for taking us all on an emotional roller coaster ride) and obviously looking for a bit of hope.

Added for Saylin: I know that they can still assign dates (not in the 2nd week) because I saw in your timeline, your case was completed on Mar 10th and you got assigned your interview date on Mar 25, so I guess there is still "hope", but my question is more this. Did they ever tell you that they can't give you an April date? I didn't even ask "I was wondering if we had an interview date yet". She just confirmed who I was and said "We were unable to give you an interview date in June". Were you ever told something similar?

Don't be discouraged!! You're getting an interview - if not in July, then probably the beginning of August. My case was complete at NVC June 1st but we didn't get our interview until July 26th. I was bummed at first, but then realized I should be happy - a bit more time to schedule the medical, etc. I imagine it all depends on the embassy/consulate and how busy they are. Maybe a lot of people take vacation in the summer too. It will all be over soon....

They only can take a certain number of cases so you wait until your turn comes. They have given out July dates and now the next group waits until the second/third week of July to get an August interview. My case was complete May 20th and I got an interview date of July 18th.

Yeah, I heard that from the operators often that I was unable to get a date for March, which I of course knew since my CC was on the 10th and Montreal's wait times are longer. They also said at times that I was unable to get a date for April.

My theory (for Montreal anyways):

First 2 weeks of each month they schedule interviews for the next month (example: scheduling July interviews in June)

Last 2 (or 3) weeks of each month they schedule interviews for the second month (example: scheduling August interviews in June)

I got scheduled during the fourth week of March for the second month (May).

I still think there's a chance you might get a July interview. Never listen to an operator, they're always reading from a script and they never check to see if the month of July is full or not. But if you don't hear anything soon, like within the next week or less, then you're probably going to get an August interview as the rest of July will fill up for Montreal.
