wish you the best, hope you have a great flight. Congrats on being approved. Think carefully on your son. You may not have AP until 6 - 7 months from entry into the US at the earliest based on your timeline and stats. (you may end up in a time crunch to get him if you want him with you for the December wedding.) Make sure he understands.

Again congrats.

thank you!!! yeah me and my fiance will talk about it later when i get there in US... :star::innocent:

just a reminder on the one year. the K-2 Visa has to be issued within one year from the date the K-1 was issued.

yeah thank you sunandmoon!!! :innocent::star:

" Derivatives may apply at the same time as the principal applicant parent or may apply later, but must be issued K-2 visas within one year from the date the K-1 visa was issued to the principal applicant parent. Derivatives who are following-to-join the principal applicant parent must apply for their K-2 visas in a timely manner to allow visa issuance within the required period."

what i understand here is that i will gonna bring my son to the US before the one year my VISA was issued.. am i right? :star::blush::unsure:

:star:Congratz Tina!!! :star:

your son's K-2 will need to be issued June 26, 2012. plan far enough in advance for medical, interview and issuance of the visa.
