Just a querry . My Fiancee will be leaving to come to the Usa soon . I bought a one way ticket from an agent in the Usa . What other taxes does she have to pay in Manila before departing ? I know she have to pay the departure tax --I think 750 pesos. I read somewhere that you have to pay a ticket tax since I did not but the ticket in the Philiipines . I appreciate any replies .

MA--thanks for the reply . Is the P1620 terminal fee charged because I did not purchase the ticket in the Philippines ? Or all international travellers pay that fee??

even if you purchase the ticket in the Philippines... Filipino citizens will pay P1620 for economy class and P2700 ( i guess) for 1st class flyers...

I know where you pay the terminal fee, but where do you pay the travel tax at?

When i left the country few months ago, the travel tax was already included in my purchased ticket (I did this at least 5 times). But since it's not included yet, i would advise her to bring EXACT AMOUNT. she's pinay so she knows why this is important. Don't give these NAIA people a chance to rip you off. by the way, can you give your agency a call and ask if travel tax is already included in the ticket? it wouldn't hurt to know... and also, all these taxes are only charged here in the Philippines. and for that, i apologize.
