PlS VJ I NEED YOUR HELP,I GOT THIS FROM NVC AND AM A LITTLE CONFUSED.....DOES THE USC NEEDS TO PROVIDE THIS......

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

We received the principal applicant's DS-3032 (Choice of Address and

Agent) form designating an address and agent.

We received notification that the applicant was previously granted legal

permanent residency/citizenship in the United States; however, the

notification was unclear as to whether or not the applicant is still a

legal permanent resident/citizen of the United States. If the applicant

is still a legal permanent resident/citizen of the United States, please

provide us with a copy of both sides of the applicant's alien

registration card ("green card") or a copy of the Naturalization

Certificate to NVCInquiry@state.gov or the address below so we may

properly update this file.

Has the individual you are filing for ever lived here in the states, it seems that the USCIS may have sent them extra information about the beneficiary.

i read it as the Foreign Spouse has had legal permanent residence before, and NVC is asking for a scanned copy of the green card to be emailed to NVC. I not read anything about Petitioner's status (Spouse residing in USA) at all.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

then is some problem with foreign spouse's name and passport # for that country, apparently

EITHER

someone used her name and passport # prior

or

NVC has a data error.

IMO, call NVC (USC Spouse) and get a supervisor, get the flag cleared out with them.

'Visa Applicant' always equals foreign spouse, in NVC terms.
