1. Call NVC 603-334-0700. It may take two weeks before case number is assigned. Call this number almost everyday and follow the AVR using your USCIS number to get the case number. If after 14 days no case number yet, go ahead and speak to a live person.

2. Provide your e-mail address and the beneficiary's e-mail address to NVC. Ask for your Invoice Identification Number (IIN).

3. Send DS-3032 via e-mail, from the beneficiary's e-mail address. Please feel free to search in this site for a sample DS-3032 e-mail. No need for an actual DS-3032 signed form. Just e-mail.

4. If you have your IIN ready, go ahead and check this link: https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx. If your AOS is generated, you can pay. Also at this point, NVC will send you e-mail about your AOS. When AOS shows "PAID", print out the cover sheet and send it to NVC with the whole I-864 package.

5. You may, or may not get the confirmation of DS-3032 from NVC. But you will know that they got it because your DS-230 invoice will be generated thru checking your invoice portal (check the link on #4). Once generated, pay. Once you see "PAID" status, print the cover sheet and send it with the whole DS-230 package.

6. Call NVC to check if there's RFE coming.

7. Wait

8. Check the online portal again. If "SIGN IN FAILED". NVC phase is copmlete.

No you won't receive any snail mail instructions from NVC. They will however, if you don't choose to be proactive, send the DS-3032 to your wife's parents by who knows when (two months from now?? maybe?)

Just one step at a time. Call NVC until you get the case number. From there you'll start rolling.

Thank you vrooooom & R&W ,

I have the same issue! And called to NVC number to ask for my parents NVC case number & got NVC case number assigned.

They told me they just mail out the letter, i should get it within 14 days.

Now, i got the NVC case number, what can I do next in the mean time? or just need to wait for the mail come?

Another question: the NVC case number and IIN are the same number or different?

Is it neccessary to provide my parent email address, since they dont use email often? will they got letter in mail still?

Thank you

I got the numbers this morning too. Provided emails. even if your parent do not use and email just give them to them. My mom does not have an email and i gave them my brother's email. IIN and NVC number are not the same numbers. You will need both to go to the web site to pay for the fees. I am just waiting for my email and the portal to generate the bill to pay for. I think if you wait for snail mail, it will take longer to have everything done. I heard sometimes they do not send any paperwork over snail mail.

Hi,

I got letters (AOS invoice & DES-3032) from NVC for my parent today.

But i'm not sure if i should fill out Choice of Agent is me (as petitioner), or I should leave it for my parent. So that, NVC then on will mail stuff to my parents, and ask them to fill out?

Which way would be more convenient?

Second question: what is "IV Application Processing Fees"?

I didnt see anything in the letter mentioned to pay this fee, that everyone was talking about?

Third question: When and where can I send Adjustment of status Forms for my parents as well?

Or I need to wait for they got interview first?

Thank you all

Also,

Does anyone know if I am petitioner for my parent, but I dont have main income in tax return. I filed tax with my husband, he's the main income. Then, Does my husband will be the joint sponsor? or Gov just based on our tax filling return (which we filed together as jointly)

If so, will I need to file I-864EZ or I-864 form for NVC?

I hope someone in the same situation can help to share their experience.

Thanks

If you file together for taxes, I-864A for husband, I-864 for you, because you are the petitioner.
