I've come home and checked the status of my case and what I see is:

On June 2, 2011, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the requested information. This case will be in suspense until we receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once we..

My sister has the case with a number less (676 and mine is 677).. Her case status still appears as 'Initial review'. My sister is from the current marriage of my father. Could it be that they ask for divorce papers or something like that?

We couldn't even begin to guess what they're asking for without knowing a whole lot more. The petitioner will get a notice by mail with details about what they want. Wait for that notice to arrive.

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!
