So I was just curious recently I went to Vancouver Canada with my USC wife and Daughter, and I, the LPR. When we entered back the US we were processed in Vancouver Canada, by customs and immigration for US. Do they normally stamp the USC passport, because they stamp my wife's and daughter's? I know that they have to stamp mine since I have a non US passport? A few months ago my wife and daughter went to Canada without me and at that time they did not stamp their passport, so was just curious, it is probably just a random thing they do. Has anynone else experience this upon entering US?

Yeah, I'm a USC, my wife (a Canadian citizen) and I went on an Alaskan Cruise from Vancouver, BC and the US CBP Officer stamped both our passports. I figured it was just a "yes, you were here" type of thing but after thinking about it, maybe it had something to do with paying duty on any merchandise I may have gotten on the cruise.

Yeah it just seems strange entering the country you are a citizen of and they stamp it. Plus both my wife's and I passport are both Biometrics so they scanned it into the computer. But it is probably a good thing to get it stamp shows that you entered back.
