Hello everybody!

My fiance received the NOA2 on May 19th but I haven't been contacted with the US embassy yet. I don't know if I am suppose to wait for them to contact me, or I contact them.

This is the information from the official website:

"Immediately upon receipt of the I-129F Petition at the Embassy, we mail an instruction letter to the visa applicants. They have to call the Immigrant Visa Unit to schedule an appointment for a visa interview."

Should I worry?

; Hi!!

Congrats on your NOA2!!

You should call NVC and ask if they have received your I-129f package from your Service Center (Cali or Vermont). If they have received your I-129 package, you get a new file-number. This is the number you need later on.

If they have had your I-129f package, ask them if and when they sent it to the Embassy abroad.

You then should contact the Embassy (7 days after NVC sent your package to Embassy), if the Embassy have received your I-129f.

When the Embassy have received your petition, they will send your fiance(e) abroad package 3, and it will all go from there..

 Good luck!

Congratulations! Yes, call to see if it's at NVC (603) - 334- 0700 and speak to an operator to get the info. You will need the Petitioner's full name and date of birth and also the Beneficiaries.

Good Luck On Your Continued Journey :)

You can call NVC to find out if the packet has been sent to Sofia. Then you wait for instructions to be mailed to you from the embassy. However, you can start collecting paperwork needed for the interview, so you can schedule an appointment earlier.

Uspeh!
