well, there's Igor's list you can check fellow VJers timeline but there's really nothing specific like 'this is the date they're working on now". We only have estimates, keep in mind that probably we're only a part of the people who filled petition. If you check the link it seems that it's random, some people gets approved sooner, some later. Check the posts some people even got approved less than a month but for me I'm waiting more than 3 months now. So I guess better not to expect since you're on your 2nd month but once you hit the 5 months mark that's the time you make a call and follow-up. smile.gif

how can i know exactly which cases are being processed at this time, i mean, the dates of those cases.....somebody?

The VJ timelines will give you an approximate idea of the petitions they are working on and you should also get an estimate of when your petition might get adjudicated (listed on your profile). I had to wait 150 days, but there have been members who had to wait even longer.

August 23, 2010 - I-129 F package sent via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation.

August 30, 2010 - Per Department of Homeland Security (DHS) e-mail, petition received and routed to California Service Center for processing. Check cashed. I-797C Notice of Action by mail (NOA 1) - Received date 08/25/2010. Notice date 08/27/2010.

After 150 days of imposed anxious patience...

January 24, 2011 - Per USCIS website, petition approved and notice mailed.

January 31, 2011 - Approval receipt notice (NOA 2) received by mail. Called NVC, given Santo Domingo case number, and informed that petition was sent same day to consulate.

Called Visa Specialist at the Department of State every day for a case update. Informed of interview date on February, 16 2011. Informed that packet was mailed to fiance on February, 15 2011.

February 21, 2011 - Fiance has not yet received packet. Called 1-877-804-5402 (Visa Information Center of the United States Embassy) to request a duplicate packet in person pick-up at the US consulate in Santo Domingo. Packet can be picked-up by fiance on 02/28.

March 1, 2011 - Medical exam completed at Consultorios de Visa in Santo Domingo.

March 9, 2011 at 6 AM - Interview, approved!

March 18, 2011 - POE together. JFK and O'Hare airports. Legal wedding: May 16, 2011.

Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.

This link is way more useful to tell you where you are in line (still an estimate because like someone else said, not all the filers out there are registered here on VJ). But I found that this was really useful and pretty accurate. Actually I even was at #126 one day when I opened the mail and there was the NOA2.

Right now as I write this you are at #320. The closer it gets to 0, the closer you are to getting your NOA2.

Also keep in mind that it seems pretty clear they work on a range of dates at the same time. While the system is "first come, first served" so to say, they have so many people working on so many different petitions it is nearly impossible to go date by date and not move on to other dates at the same time. I'm at CSC and they seem to be focusing on Jan-March right now. And you can tell that people everyday are getting NOA2 from all three of those months. In another two weeks or so they should be moving into April petitions (like me!). VSC is the same way, they are just a little further behind. And remember that traditionally those who file at the start of the year tend to have shorter waiting periods than those who file at the end of the year.

I-129F Sent : 2011-04-05

I-129F NOA1 : 2011-04-07

NOA1 hardcopy: 2001-04-16

I-129F NOA2: 2011-06-28
