Many on VJ know how 'clean' a person's record has to be to get a K1 visa - a Green card - Naturalization

How can it be that a person who was a member of the NAZI party, a user of concentration camp labor, a person who ordered flogging of concentration camp forced workers, an Officer in the SS, a person who worked tirelessly to rain death on England (and did), can come to the US, have his record 'cleaned ' by the government and then later given US Citizenship ?

More evidence that the USA is NOT a nation of laws with equality for all - we are all valued according to our value to the government, or conversely to our nuisance value

Compare the treatment of Von Braun who ran the US space program to that of Charlie Chaplin who had his green card torn up and who was then banned from the USA

Who lived more in accordance with American values - Charlie Chaplin or Wernher Von Braun ?

I conclude, a day after memorial day, that the whole honor ethos is really driven by expediency behind the scenes, and the soldiers who go to Afghanistan or Vietnam are pawns of people whose values are not the same as theirs
