Hey, just making sure I am doing it right. How do I get my London case number without waiting for packet three to land on my doorstep, I have been calling NVC automated service, is that right?

you call NVC and talk to an operator and ask them if your case has been forwarded and for your case number.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Option 5 when you ge to NVC, will get you a person and you can ask the case number

Yeah make sure to speak to an operator, it can take around 15 days for the petition to be sent to nvc. We got our NOA2 on Fri 13th May and our case isnt at NVC yet.

NVC also will mail the petitioner a letter with the new case number when they assign it. Just wanted to throw that in because the VJ lore seems to be making everybody think they are required to call and get that new case number.

Indeed, I thought I HAD to call, good to know. I did call and speak to someone, and have the number now, and it has also been sent to London, Yay! Also good to know they send you a letter. Thank you all :) :)

Actually, it can be that NVC does not enter cases in their system until several days after receipt, sometimes only when it is already prepared to go out. (at least this is what happen in our case)
