why contact the congressman at this time?? this is what needs to happen first.....

Who made the phone call to USCIS? The petitioner or beneficiary? (they will not tell the beneficiary anything it HAS TO BE THE PETITIONER THAT CALLS USCIS) and exactly what does the info say on the website about your case? does it say your immigration application was approved? or does it say you will receive a letter?

IF it was approved and you still dont have hard copy you can STILL start calling NVC and see if your case was updated with a new number..by using the auto response and putting in your NOA1 case number. If they have it and loaded it the nvc will tell you the new numbers...write themn down and then call right back and speak to a person and tell them your emails .....

But it could be an RFE letter....but just tell us exactly what it says on your website status...

LOL and DO BE SURE YOU HAVE PUT IN THE RIGHT NOA NUMBER ON WEBSITE.... we got our numbers transposed once :bonk: and had a strangeeee update....but then realized that it wasnt us

hey e abbas thanx for ur help i m appreciated dat finally i got NOA2 YESTERDAY. so u tell me how was ur interview?

congrats on the noa2!!!!

we have interview in a little over two weeks :) inshallah we will get good news :)

N btw now the petitioner needs to be calling NVC EVERYDAY to get the new case number...once the new case number is updated call back and talk to an operator and tell them the petitioner and beneficiary emails...then they will send out info to both of you....

then once you get the ds3032 info fill out a template from this site...and have the beneficiary send in the ds3032 email....that will start the whole process online saving you weeks and maybe a month or two at nvc...

we were at NVC bascially a month before moving ot embassy bcos we did all this online :) (we did have to overnight the AOS package and the ds230)

look at this link it will help...study it and be ready...NVC can move fast ;)

Yes--please post details about the interview in the proper embassy section, but also here so we all learn what is happening today--it really doesn't matter what was going on last year. Filling out the forms and waiting is pretty plain vanilla, but getting insights on the interviews at all the consulates is invaluable.

I agree...and i believe that it would be selfish of us to gain knowledge of the visa process without giving back ;) so once we can speak again after interview LOL we will post every detail that my husband can remember :)
