I signed up for bookkeeping series at a community college. The series has 6 courses and will be completed in little over 2 months.

The courses are no credit and I'll be given a certificate of completion. How are these courses from an employer's perspective. Wondering if I'll be able to find an entry-level bookkeeping job. Experts please chime in. Thanks.

Here's what will be taught: accounting 1& 2, financial statements analysis, quickbooks beginners and intermediate, business tax forms

Certificates are worthless from Employers perspective, I would strongly suggest you to get an AA'S in Bookkeeping to get a better shot in this job market, an Associate Degree is the minimum that would impress an employer that receive hundreds if not thousands of applications of well qualified individual for a single job opening.
