Hi Everyone! Hope someone will enlighten me this. I will have my interview in Abu Dhabi for Fiance visa. The problem is that the US Embassy Abu Dhabi is giving me a latter date of my interview which is September 20 and my NOA2 is valid up to August 25. I don't know how can I requested an earlier visa interview few days after we got an approval (NOA2). In fact, I sent them emails requesting an early interview before my residence visa in UAE expires (August 10, 2011) but still they gave me a date of September 20. Furthermore, my NBI will expire on August 3.I can't believe that we will take this fiance process in one year when others processed it maximum of 7months.

Please help me on how to figure it out.

Thanks in advance.

I am having the same issue. My NOA2 expires earlier than the interview date. I don't know why they have scheduled me three and half months after I have received my NOA2. This process is really getting on my nerves. I am wondering how to proceed with requesting an earlier interview date as well. My fiance doesn't speak English and I am worried they are not going to have a translator available for the language he speaks. Any suggestions as how to go about this would help!!

Thanks for the advice. I emailed the U.S. embassy in Abu Dhabi with all my concerns, and I have yet to receive a response. I think I am also going to call the NVC and see if they can reschedule the interview date for a sooner date. What do you think is the likelihood of them rescheduling to a closer date??

Thanks for your help!

I emailed US Embassy Abu Dhabi regarding an earlier interview date but they respond that the my interview date is the earliest date they can give as per their calendar. Glad that you have an earlier date than mine. Sounds ironic that I got approved ahead of you and I got a latter interview date.

To be honest I sent more than 5times plus fax requesting an ealier date but there is no positive response.

I had two RFE's and now this. I could just scream. The first RFE was my fault because I didn't check off a box. The second one was to show evidence for circumstances of meeting. My interview date from the time I applied is going to be nearly a year. I am running out of patience!!! I think I am going to phone the NVC center if I don't get a response in the next few days to my email I sent out last night.

My fiance called the NVC to ask assistance so that we can get an earlier date but NVC advised him that it is not their control for the change or scheduling of interview. He should contact the embassy of his beneficiary. We sent emails to Abu Dhabi US Embassy many times but there is no positive response from them. I don't know what to do now. Myh visa expires on August 10 and I will not renew my employment. Worst comes to worst I willexit to Oman and get a visit visa when I come back. Hope everything will be alright.
