Good morning everyone,

I hope this hasn't been asked for or anything, I couldn't find a similar question on the search page. I just received our NOA2 this week, and so we're starting to get the ball rolling with all the paperwork she needs and I need as well. One of my questions is regarding how soon I can begin compiling the i-134 paperwork, namely the verification of employment letter from my job. Since the interview would realistically be in about 2-3 months, is it too soon to go ahead and get that letter done NOW? i.e., will a letter dated in May be okay for a July/August interview?

Thanks in advance!

Yeah that's fine. They are looking at everything based on the time the NVC receives it and you will also have pay stubs since then to show ongoing employment.

I have a question here... do u really need to bring the pay stubs?????

I am bringing a letter from my FI's boss stating that he has been working there for N years, that is a permanent position and his annual income (which is a lot more than the minimun required)

Also all of his bank statements to show the money he has saved.

he owns a house as well, I am trying to get that paper as evidence too.

I dont think they care but I am also bringing my bank statements to show all my savings.

Is not that enough?? not sure though but I dont think he has any pay stubs

I would start gathering things now, a few months old won't hurt anything and in fact you can attach more recent pay stubs closer to the interview. In fact I haven't even gotten NOA2 but I already got my employer letter.

NOA1 - 12/21/15

NOA2 - 04/18/16

NVC Receive - 04/29/16

NVC Welcome - 05/13/16

DS-261 - 05/14/16

AOS, IV PAID - 05/27/16

DS260 done - 06/10/16

Case Transferred to US Embassy in Riga Latvia at the end of October.

If you really want it, you'll find a way!

A lot of companies these days directly deposit into the employees account. In those cases they usually have their check online and people can go and print it. So chances are he can still print his pay stubs. You should check with him.
