Thanks Tom! I probably won't sleep a wink tonight. Actually my POE will be at Immigration 'Pre-clearance' here at Vancouver International Airport. I hope it's a smooth crossing!

How you doing Newhallone? Long time no see, How are things going? what did you do about the fees she had to pay at the Airport to leave? And it was no problem though going Online buying with Vayama???

Things are great. Riza is here and we are married. Now we have to do the adjustment of status. After we get caught up on the bills. We got her Soc. card the other day. They would not do it in her married name. They said that after adjustment of status we could get it changed. Weird. I don't think thats right, but ok.

As for the airport we had to walk over and pay Riza's tax or fee or whatever it that was before they would hand us the boarding passes. That was it.

omg im so confused now ray-j told me having the ticket issued in the philippines i called delta 3 times talked to 3 differant people asking them about that they all assured me it would be ok to get it online but id have to go to delta office at atlanta airport to verify credit card and my id..... i have seen others say they bought theres online i assumed delta knows this and would have a system to run the purchase through the office in the philippines.

Go ahead and follow Delta's instructions about going to the airport with your ID. I'm sure it will be okay. However, I would have your mahal find the local Delta office to have her e-ticket re-issued at the Philippine office a few days before departure. We had to do that with Amy when she flew Korean Air. However, they seemed to be more strict in terms of following the rules in the Philippines. They won't even allow a person to look at flight schedules or purchase tickets from their website if they are in the Philippines. Other airlines, such as Continental and Delta, seem to have no problems with allowing purchases from the Philippines online.

You right! I went to KAL webite as if to act like I was going to purchase a Ticket and the screen came up and said by law of the Philippines you cant purchase 1 way or round trip Ticket for Flights originating from the PI!

Congratulations on your wedding Newhallone. How long has Rizza been here? Yea after the AOS You can get it changed, but if as you did get it before AOS they will issue it in her Family name. Hey guys!!! I haven't posted here for a long time for I have been very busy.Anyways, just wanted to update with regards to my case.I'm done with my medical and interview and am anxiously waiting for my visa to be delivered.Hopefully this week or next. :wacko:

hello everyone wanted to update the online delta.com flight i purchased i looked at my reciept and the purchase line said webmnl so i guess they route the purchase thru manila office wen bought online also to be sure i had her call manila office to ask also and they said everything was fine i just need to go by delta office near me and verify card and id she will be coming on jan.24th and we are so excited we cant wait to be together again. good luck everyone......
