Hello VJ people! So after re-submitting my biographical data THREE times to NVC Montreal, I finally got this email:

Dear Sir/Madam:

All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of the interview.

This has taken very long because they somehow removed me from the electronic processing program and I had to do it all over, *UGH*

SO does anyone know what I should be doing now? I just don't want to prolong this any further...been since March 2010. AND anyone know from the point of this email how long it usually takes to get the packet and interview?? Please any help will be SUPER!! Thank you!!

USCIS deals with immigration, but if that applicant requires a visa to come here, handed over to the Department of State, so they kind of, well, I was lead to believe they do, work hand in hand. Or is it passing the buck.

But you probalby can find more information on processing times on the Department of State website. But then you are dealing with a US Consulate, mother-in-law did that in Colombia and it took them over 15 months just to do a simple tourist visa. Must be a sweet job to get, like going on an extended vacation.

See you are from Canada, until a couple of years ago, would be able just to walk over here, but Bush didn't think you were doing a very good job of checking terrorists and drug dealers.
