we are actually now going on 22 business days but still hoping for good news, i got an RFE so im guessing im gonna be delayed a week or two. . .congrats on urs

Oh I'm sorry for you! But as you got an RFE it will be delayed for sure, you will be aproved very very soon tho! We have been waiting for so long that we cannot wait for another week anymore! lol Know exactly how you feel.

I have passed my 20 business days ( 1 month ) and nothing, no RFE and nothing; nothing & nothing other than the autoreply after I sent everything electronically then.

I called yesterday, they said it's not been processed yet . The operator is requesting the documents to be processed.

I have to wait again , I guess .... don't know til when .

Called today and she said they are emailing me an rfe for sending two passport ( US )

And scan them

Told my wife sshe needs to tkae photos at a shop nearby the us consul in her town otherwise they may not know the us passport photo spec

I know this is pretty hard but we have been waiting for sooo long, just keep your head up! Two more weeks is nothing for who has been waiting for months! After this hard process you will be together and nothing can separate you guys anymore!

email the passport style 2 photos plus the bar coded cover sheet from the payment page yesterday. The operator told me yesterday there's no need to wait for the response letter to come in.

Received the actual correspondence for RFE this morning. It says to include the " checklist response letter " plus the 2 photos and also please print the name and case # on the back of the photos . Weird , how am I going to scan something on the back of the photos . So, what I do , is to write below the photos the name and case #.

Is that how it is done with electronic processing ???

Anyhow here is my question :

1. How long will it take before case is complete ? In their response letter it says please allow 20 business days.

2. Do I need to email them again with the response letter attached ???

when i sent out my RFE it took exactly 14days (including weekends , i don't really know about the electronic processing, but writing at the back of the photo's isn't really a big deal. it's an option though so that when it get's lost it's easily tracked, since u did electronic processing it doesn't apply. My photos weren't signed and my case is already close goodluck. . .

it wouldn't hurt if u sent out another photo with the checklist response either if your worried

i would expect at least 2 weeks also . may get lucky and finish earlier but shouldn't count on it.

i'll email another one with the checklist letter soon.
