news alert for us islamabad embassy for pakistani petationer who waitiing for their interview

hi vjers i have a sad news for us embassy islamabad for pakistani petationer who waiting for their interview and also those petationer who waiting for their interview future scheduling dates with embassy the us islamabad embassy is only talking about embassy closed schedule for Monday, May 02, 2011 but some reliable news agency sources confirm that this embassy closed schedule is unnone peroid of time they cannot tell the definate time when islamabad us embassy reopen again so iam specially request for the pakistani petationer please pray that this closed schedule is only for few days not for long.

This Warden Notice is to alert U.S. citizens of the possibility of violent protests and demonstrations in major cities of Pakistan, specifically near U.S. Consulates General in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, and the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad. Spontaneous protests in reaction to the recent events, could erupt at any time at locations perceived as Western, including restaurants and areas where foreigners are known to congregate and may turn violent. The U.S. Embassy in Islamabad and the U.S. Consulates General in Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar will be closed on Monday, May 02, 2011, except for emergency American Citizens Services. The Embassy will issue an updated Warden Message when the Embassy and Consulates General reopen for routine business.

I can only pray for all of us as we await the visa to be with our spouses and loved ones....this has been a difficult year without my husband by my side thru my illnesses and daily routines...may Allah be with us and protect us as we wait for our loved ones and may he bless us with a quick end to this long journey...Ameen...

I can understand the decision to close the embassy but at the same time i wish there was a better alternative...inshAllah...we won't be left in the dark too long...we will have our interviews and approvals soon...

My husband has an interview in Islamabad next week. I will pray that the embassy will not be closed for long.

This Warden Notice is to inform American Citizens in Pakistan that the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad and the U.S. Consulate General in Karachi are open for business as of Tuesday, May 3, 2011. Please note that the U.S. Consulates General in Lahore and Peshawar remain closed to the general public for routine business except for emergency American Citizen Services.The Embassy reiterates its advice to all U.S. citizens to take measures for their safety and security at all times. These measures include maintaining good situational awareness, avoiding crowds and demonstrations, and keeping a low profile. U.S. citizens should avoid setting patterns by varying times and routes for all required travel. U.S. citizens should ensure that their travel documents and visas are valid at all times. In addition, over the next several days and weeks, we advise U.S. citizens to avoid areas where foreigners are known to congregate.

For the latest security information, U.S. citizens living and traveling abroad should regularly monitor the Department of State's Bureau of onsular Affairs Internet website, where the current Worldwide Caution, Travel Warning for Pakistan, and Country-Specific Information for Pakistan can be found. We just got the news yesterday that our case was completed at NVC even the final review done! No RFE...My husband is now in line awaiting an interview date... ALHAMDULILLAH!!!! We did send an email requesting expedite at embassy but no news yet...inshALLAH soon we will know one way or another...
