But did you actually turn on your text/email alert in your USCIS check status?

You will only get alert if you did that.

Nope, we didn't turn on the text/email alert. We really didn't pay any attention to our ROC after we mailed the packet. The only time we even mentioned to each other how long it had been since we sent the packet was a few days before we received the approval letter.

Oh, I hate this waiting too...

I have a friend who was approved for AOS in 3 months and for ROC in 3 months and she didn't care about her case at all - she didn't even set up the online update.

In my case AOS took almost 9 months. ROC is 3 months old. I'm checking the online status 2 times a week even though I know that there is nothing new there since I haven't received an email or text. :bonk:

I just wish I had my friend's patience. :innocent:

Yes its amazing that some of the June filers are already approved...there is no way understanding how the system works.... I check my mail and the uscis online status everyday along with the mail box. No Diazy we are all in the same boat. I am just thinking whether to call them or not...may be its too early to call.

March 17, 2009 : Biometrics Letter recieved (Dated 13th March). Interview on 1st week of April

April 22, 2009 : Called USCIS. They have received fingerprints and work permit is in process.

it has been only three months, their processing time for I-751 is 6 months.

My AOS took long time too, although my husband was active duty military :blink: :blink: we had a lawyer to do the papers...we didn't know we can do it ourselves, and he missed up my name in the application and the birthdate too :wacko: but back then I didn't really know how long it takes, people told me a year or more...I was going to school and didn't think about it really... :innocent: now that we did the package ourselves its different.. :bonk:
