Good morning guys,

I just want to let you know that my sister came on Wednesday, May 29. We are very happy to finally see her here with us, except that we had a little bump in the road. She has two children, one twenty-yeard old boy and a thirteen-year girl, well, they did not allow her girl to come with her because they needed the permission signed by the Dominican consulate signed by her father. Her father lives here in New Jersey, so my poor niece was crying becuase she couldn't come with them. So the next day, yesterday, we went to the Dominican consulate here in NYC and meet with her father and he signed the permission, now my sister has to go back to bring her.

My questions is do you think my ister will have any problem if she go back to DR before she received her green card? Also, we want to wait for my niece to submit all the green card request at the same time and pay them all together. Please let me know your input. Thanks.

Hi Tania, I was checking around for you and this is what I found, Maybe someone else can help better.

What documents do I need to present to reenter the United States?

If seeking to enter the United States after temporary travel abroad, you will need to present a valid, unexpired “green card” (Form I-551, Permanent Resident Card). When arriving at a port of entry, a U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officer will review your permanent resident card and any other identity documents you present, such as a passport, foreign national I.D. card or U.S. Driver’s License, and determine if you can enter the United States. For information pertaining to entry into the United States, see U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s webpage at www.cbp.gov.

It’s the last day of the month and still No IL’s so far… this is kind of abnormal. So I think something out of the ordinary is going to happen … it could be either very good (big jump) or very bad news (no movement at all). Keeping my fingers crossed!

I don't think we will get a retrogression at this time...If anything, it will continue 3-4 weeks movement.

Schrumer thinks that ther immigration bill will be passed by July 4 2013

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2013/06/02/schumer-thinks-immigration-bill-will-pass-by-july-4/

If it does, that would be one of the fastest American legislation turnaround times. But, will it benefit those of us in F1 still waiting?

Let's hope we hear some info on letters this week! Big movement, you think?
