What country is the beneficiary in? You can printe the bar coded cover sheet and receipt from the online payment page. If you are in a country that allows electronic processing then you need to send an optin email. The AOS forms will go to the petitioner, but you need to start gathering all the documentation now so things aren't delayed. check out this page for the fastest way to get the paper process completed at NVC

What is the $88 and the $404 for? Please don't tell me you paid just to download the forms. Anyway, the AOS forms, you can print them from here (its free):

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=3faf2c1a6855d010VgnVCM10000048f3d6a1RCRD&vgnextchannel=db029c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD

If the petitioner isn't making enough, then yes you should need the form I-864 for the joint sponsorship. Even if the petitioner makes enough, you still need to submit this form, because the Immigration wants to make sure that the beneficiary won't be a burden to the government when living here in the U.S.

Good luck!

If you paid the 88$ AOS so long ago you should be able to log in to NVC and print out a cover sheet with a bar code on it. This sheet also has the address you need to send the AOS stuff to. You need the I-864, joint sponsor papers and any other supporting documents. In the process of sending my packet in as well. Good luck!
