What Alien number? Petitioner is a USC and beneficiary has not an Alien number yet. It will be assigned once USCIS approves the petition.

You need to put todays date to your check. It doesn't matter what date is in your document.

Hi. Definitely OK to put today's date. I am the individual that LWIF mentioned I accidentally put wrong year on check and got whole packet sent back to me. Packet was sent back to me after several weeks. In short, I re-wrote check and all petition items which I had put date on previously I did not change date on. I kept the older dates. I re-mailed petition. Just a few days afterward I received NOA1. Good luck on your visa journey!!

oooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh

I have an alien reg number because I was naturalized...

I haven't put it on all the sheets...

I have put my name on each sheet of paper and signed it (i-129f supplemental sheets, etc).

I didn't realize this was in the instructions to put the alien number on all sheets.

I have sent a huge book and it was simply not feasible to sign each and every one of them.

I divided each and every document in sections. Wherever it was appropriate (for example in the airline tickets section), i put a small cover sheet detailing what is included and how many pages.

And I signed each and every one of those sheets.

Oh well, I hope this doesn't cost me an RFE for not putting my Alien Number everywhere... that would be a bummer!!!

I divided each and every document in sections. Wherever it was appropriate (for example in the airline tickets section), i put a small cover sheet detailing what is included and how many pages. It was necesasry because i traveled to my fiancee's country multiple times and i found it to be more organized when things are listed out upfront in each section. similarly for my passport. I included all my pages (not to prove citizenship, for that i used my naturalization certificate), however only 3 pages applied to stamps from the visited country's airport immigration. So I created a cover sheet, added a table format indicating which trip date is located on which page, etc. signed and dated it... you get the idea...

And I signed and dated each and every one of those sheets.

Oh well, I hope this doesn't cost me an RFE for not putting my Alien Number everywhere... that would be a bummer!!!

I really wanna admire it a bit longer (but I know i shouldn't)... lol

I scanned the entire package when I sent it out. I look at it time to time because I get paranoid that I forgot something or I answered something incorrectly. Just remember, its the first step of many. The check date doesn't matter as long as the payable amount is enough (Honestly, when they recieve your packate, they open it, cash your check and throw your envelope "into the pile" for the next six months.

I remember how excited I was for NOA1 and how anxious the wait for NOA2 was. Good luck with everything!

Instead of admiring the USCIS's copy of your packet, why don't you admire one of the other two copies? You know, the copy that you are going to send to your fiancée which contains the original receipts, or the copy you are going to keep for yourself in case one of the other two copies gets lost.
