Is it allow to visit my fiance in the States during the whole process?

Does anybody know if it is allowed to visit the fiance in the States during the processing of the paperwork?

I am from Germany which means that I do not apply for a visa if I am going to stay less then 90 days.

Actually I am planning on staying there for 2 weeks.

But I heard that it is possible that the immigration will not let you enter the states and what might cause problems later on at the interview.

Does anybody experienced that the immigration was refused due to the paperwork?

Or do I have to take something (bank statement, letter from my work etc.) that shows that I do not have any intents to stay in the states?

I am really confused. I really like to visit my fiance but I am too afraid to make things more complicated since everything is mess up already

Many people have visited their fiances in the U.S. while their K-1 petitions are being processed. I visited my fiance several times without any problems.

There is no guarantee that you will be allowed to enter the U.S., though. It is up to the discretion of the border officer that you get at the time.

To increase your chances, you should bring plenty of proof that you have ties to your home country, such as a mortgage/lease document, most recent pay stubs, letter from your employer, most recent utility bills, etc.

This will increase your chances of being let in.

Even if you are not allowed to enter, it will not affect you at the interview. You are not doing anything illegal by attempting to enter the U.S. for a visit.
