I'm so happy I finally met my fiance in Jordan. I just got back from there on the 17th. It was an amazing trip. It got cut a little short because I missed my first flight to Amman due to O'Hare being very huge and I didn't know where to go. I showed up 10 mins before departure but the doors were already closed. I took the next flight the next day. She was a little late but it was amazing finally seeing her. She saw me, started crying, ran to me, and gave me a hug. The best hug of my life. :P Best day of my life so far too haha until the wedding day :P

Ah I really HATE O'Hare - it's huge like you say and the staff is NOT helpful!

Congratulations on a successful first meeting and good luck to you the rest of the journey!

Our journey together on this earth has come to an end.

I will see you one day again, my love.

Haha, so everyone else has also realized how unhelpful everyone is at that giant and complicated airport? I remember asking for directions and the guy just kept saying, "It's in B." Ok.

Everytime I meet my fiancee at the airport it is like I am dreaming. Being seperated by so much distance and time sucks, but that first hug you get at the airport makes you feel like nothing could be better with the world.

My girl connected in ORD on her first visit out here - said she got lost and passed "the dinosaur" a few times before she figured her way around. I didn't know what the hell she was talking about at the time and had no idea it was literally a dinosaur until I connected thru that same concourse shortly after. Random, to say the least :P

Glad you made it, congrats! :D

Yea no kidding I was worried about the 12 hour flight but I would gladly do it again just to be with her again. I'll be so happy to touch her again. It seems weird to come home from touching her back to skype. So much better in person. She also cried for a week makes me sad I'm not with her. I just pray we will get approved quickly.

How sweet and, at the same time, terrible is to be in love. I remember that the last time I had to say goodbye to my fiance I could not stop crying in the taxi on the way to the airport. It was all too painful to have to say goodbye, yet again... Time will pass and you will be able to finally be together in the US.

Best wishes in your journey! (F)
